FAQ's Frequently Asked Questions

Please find the most frequently asked questions here. If you have a question that is not answered here, please send us an email via the contact form and we will be happy to help.

1: Orders

We hand make every order to size which is why we are able to offer specific measurements for your chair. Most orders are made to measure after your order has been placed which can take up to a day to make at busy periods. We will, however, make priority for orders that have been placed using the express service such as Tracked 24 and Next Day Courier (We use DX or UPS) (See "Shipping" below).

How do I change the quantity of straps?

As you add your choice to the cart, go to the Basket in the top right corner and then click on the + sign to add more items to your basket.

2: How To Measure

Before ordering, measure the gap from inside slot to inside slot on the chair (Not the old strap as this would have stretched) as this will be the length you require.

We will work out the measurements of the dowel holes here. If the length you require is not listed, contact us and we will do our best to suit.

3: Shipping

All orders will be dispatched as quick as physically possible. We send our items via Royal Mail 48. This is usually a 2-3 working day service however as we use business mail, it can be as quick as 1-2 working days. There will be an option to upgrade your order to a quicker service, we offer an option of Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour for £5.49 or a guaranteed next day service via UPS for £9.99. The only way that it is possible to upgrade is by going to "Basket" and selecting the "Postage Upgrade" product and adding to basket. Cut off time 12pm. Please note Saturday delivery isn't available through the website, however if you give us a call we will be able to quote you for a satruday delivery on your order.


4: International Shipping

We can ship internationally, no matter where you are in the world. Our website will show 0% UK VAT when you complete your order. Please note that our website prices include VAT and this will be removed when you change your country in the checkout process.

You will be liable for any VAT, customs and excise duties that are due by your country.

Postage will be calculated during checkout for most items (some are not fully set up as of yet). If the shipping states £9999, please contact us with your requirements as it will need a more precise shipping quote.



5: Returns

If you decide you are unhappy with your purchase, please advise us by using the "Contact" form on our site. We will then send you a return code and address for you to send it back to us.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We recommend that all items are returned via a recorded delivery method, as we will not be liable for any damage or loss whilst in transit back to us.


You must make sure that the item is sent back to us within 14 days of receipt, and in its original selling condition. A full refund will be given on return of the item. Please Note: Postage costs will not be refunded unless the item is faulty.

When returning an item, please include your contact details, invoice number, item and reason for return, in the package.

6: Can you fit the straps for me?

We are able to offer a fitting service, however you must be able to drop and collect the chair / sofa to our warehouse at the address in our "About Us" section. Please get in touch for a fitting quote.
